WILDLY SOCIAL
December 2020 | Lion and Rhino Nature Reserve, Gauteng, South Africa

Limited Edition Print
50 × 70 cm – Edition of 25 only | Signed and shipped with a Certificate of Authenticity
Just before feeding time, this pack of African wild dogs erupted into playful interaction... nipping, nudging, and tumbling in a display of pure social energy. Though often seen as fierce predators, wild dogs are deeply affectionate animals. Their strength lies in their bond, they thrive in close-knit packs where care, communication, and play are key to survival. Moments like this are a reminder: their wildness is not just in the hunt, but in how they love.

ENDANGERED EYES
October 2009 | Kruger National Park, South Africa

A close-up of a sleeping African wild dog, its eyes marked by a haunting sadness. Though surrounded by its pack, the focus falls on this one face... soft, vulnerable, aware. As one of the world’s most endangered mammals, the African wild dog cannot survive alone. Their strength lies in unity, in movement, in the heartbeat of the pack. And somehow, in this moment, it was as if it knew their numbers were dwindling.

STEP INTO SHADOW
December 2021 | Lion and Rhino Nature Reserve, Gauteng, South Africa

A lone hyena emerges from the bush, pausing just long enough for the light to catch its form. This was not an easy shot... the moment was brief, the shadows deep, and the animal cautious. Often misunderstood, hyenas move between worlds, thriving in the margins where few dare follow.

THE SKITTISH KIND
January 2021 | Rietvlei Nature Reserve, Gauteng, South Africa

A fleeting moment with a black-backed jackal... an animal known for its skittish, sharp-eyed nature. This image was the result of stillness, silence, and a huge amount of luck. For just long enough, our paths aligned. In the space between movement and vanishing, I captured something rare: a calm jackal, watching, unhurried… for now.
